Kifani Press is reopening its online bookstore, “Books, Treats, and Gifts,” on June 20th at 11 a.m. The shop will feature diverse children’s books and toys.

Going beyond their storefront at Arrow Creative, Kifani Press, owned by sisters Ashley Davis and April Foxx, hopes that with the reopening of their online specialty store, they can bridge the gap between independent bookstores in Memphis and those that choose to highlight diverse children’s books.

Carrying everything from kids’s products such as custom crayons and sticker art to picture and chapter books for readers of all ages, the online store is a great way for Memphians to obtain unique educational resources and pour into a local business.

“We welcome all readers,” says co-owner Ashley Davis. “We will have a selection of books, from board books for little ones to novels for more advanced readers.”

Before coming, Ms. Davis wants first-time visitors to know that Arrow Creative also has its own retail market and several other studio artists.

“[Patrons] can stop into our Literacy Lab for a great selection of children’s books and products, but they can also shop hundreds of other unique finds!”

Kifani Press will maintain its normal store hours between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Thursdays and Saturdays and by appointment for private shopping experiences on Wednesdays.
